URA FC Visit: Vipers’ Ouma says Battle still on, Sserunkuma suspended

By Francis Otucu

Vipers SC head coach, Michael Nam Ouma has said the battle to lift the league title is still on.

Ahead of URA’s visit this afternoon, Ouma said the fight is still on and that no all hope is lost.

“The fight is still on. We want to ensure that we manage our remaining games on a positive note, and we have not lost hope because with four games to go, that is 12 points. And the guys ahead, KCCA; they are six points ahead, so anything can happen in the four games. So the battle is still on,”

The Kitende team is without injured midfielder Moses Maiswa (foot injury), Daniel Sserunkuma (suspended) and Halid Luwalira (groin injury).

Yayo Lutima and Tito Okello return to the squad after match and indiscipline suspensions respectively.

Earlier meeting between the two sides ended one all courtesy of goals from Sserunkuma and Shafik Kagimu’s.
